Your life is full of surprises and mysteries.
You neither predict nor foretell anything in your life. Whatever has to happen
will happen in your life, nobody can stop it.
For
instance, you can’t stop the duration of day and night; you can’t stop the
rotation of earth; you can’t stop the cycle of the seasons; you can’t stop the
changing weather; you can’t stop the falling rain; you can’t stop lightning and
thunderstorms; you can’t stop the rise and fall of sea tides; you can’t stop
the shaking of an earthquake; and many natural things that happen around you.
In
fact, these are the parts of the natural order that nobody can stop these
things. In the same manner, your life is in the order of life.
If
you explore your own life, then you will find that many events and incidents
are always happening in your life nonstop, one after another that you couldn’t
stop.
As a
matter of fact, your life is the biggest ocean of knowledge. If you will able
to dive into this biggest ocean of knowledge, then you don’t need to get the
printed paper certificate of any school, college and university. You will
become a graduate of the school, college and university of your own life.
“Fill your life experiences, not
things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.”
---Anonymous
“Arjuna,
everything comes and goes in life. Happiness and unhappiness are temporary
experiences that arise from sense perception. Heat and cold, pleasure and pain
will come and go. They never last forever. So do not get
attached to them.”
---Bhagwad Gita
The above verse from the Bhagwad Gita guides
you:
•
Everything will come and go in your life.
•
You shouldn’t get attached to them.
•
Good and bad things will come and go in your life.
•
You have no control of them.
•
Things may not work out as you expect.
•
Your life is not the bed of roses.
• It
is full of ups and downs.
• It
is a mixture of roses and thorns.
•
But, with your right approach, you can deal with all the adversities of life.
Anecdote:
There was once a man who had four sons. He wanted to teach his sons about the experiences of life. So, he sent each one of the boys on their way to the same pear tree that was far from their village. The first son had to go in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in the summer, and the youngest son in the autumn.
The
second son said that it was not possible that to be the same he had found- he
had seen a tree covered with green buds and a promise of fertility.
The
third son said that what his brothers saw was not the tree he saw the pear all
blooming and radiant, spreading sweet aroma, the tree was so beautiful that it
seemed to him to be the most beautiful tree he has ever seen.
The
father listened to the stories of his sons and told them that each of them was
right and they saw the same tree. Just every boy has visited the pear tree
during a different season of the year.
The
man wanted to teach his sons that in life too they would witness and experience
the different colors and flavors of life.
What
you gain from the experiences of your own life?
•
You will know yourself better.
•
You will understand your mental state.
• You will know how to adapt yourself in every
condition.
•
You will know how to adjust yourself in every situation.
•
You will know how to manage yourself in every crisis.
•
You will know how to handle yourself in every circumstance.
•
You will know your own potentials.
•
You will become confident in your life.
•
You will become disciplined in your life.
•
You will become self-reliant.
•
You will become mature enough.
•
You will become a brave.
