HOW CAN YOU FOCUS ON YOURSELF? (self-help, motivation, personal growth, personal development, self-improvement, self-esteem)

Always focus on yourself. Don’t distract your focus for a single second or for a moment away from you. The moment you distract away your focus from yourself, the very moment all the negative things will start dwelling inside you. It will suck your energy, strength and power. You will lose your own potentials. You will become weak and timid. You will trap yourself in the whirlpool of distractions. And once you will fall in the path of distractions, you will start forgetting your life’s goal. You will start wandering in your life aimlessly.

“Never allow your mind to wander untamed like a wild animal that exists on the basis of survival of the fittest. Tame your mind with consistent focus on your goals  and desires.”

                                                           ---Stephen Richards

When you focus on yourself, all the positive energies are coming to you to look after you. You can turn your own life from good to better; and better to best. You will become the master of your own life. You can rule your own life in your own terms and conditions. Your mind, body and spirit will come together in unison, and you could do anything in your life.

In which areas can you focus on your life?

Focus on your personality

Focus on your habits

• Focus on your self-growth and self-development

Focus on your good health

Focus on your work

Focus on your responsibilities

Focus on your happiness and prosperity

Focus on your success

Focus on your inner peace

Who will create the biggest blunder in the road of your focus?

Your uncontrolled mind will always create the biggest blunder in the road of your focus. It is the biggest foe of your happiness, success, prosperity and peace.

For instance, your uncontrolled mind wants everything that you can see; your uncontrolled mind wants everything that you can hear; your uncontrolled mind wants everything that you can smell; your uncontrolled mind wants everything that you can feel; your uncontrolled mind wants everything that you can touch; and your uncontrolled mind wants everything that you can reach. Your uncontrolled mind diverts you and makes you like its puppet. Your uncontrolled mind is like an uncontrolled vehicle which leads you to cause the terrible accident.

If you fail to control your mind, then you couldn’t focus on anything. Your uncontrolled mind will distract you from the path of your goal and success. Since, your mind is faster than the wind or any modern rocket. Your mind is faster than the speed of light. Hence, before you focus on yourself, first of all you have to learn how to control your mind.

“For one whose mind is unbridled, self-realization is difficult work. But he whose mind is controlled and who strives by appropriate means is assured of success. That is My opinion.”

                                                           ---Bhagwad Gita

The above verse from the Bhagwad Gita guides you to control your mind:

• Fix your mind in one definite goal at a time.

• Never allow your mind to distract anywhere for a single second.

• Keep your mind busy and engage in your work.

• Guide and lead your mind.

• Guide your mind for your growth and development.

• Lead your mind to the path of success.

• Be the master of your own mind.

• Don’t become its slave.

• Make it your best servant.

Arjuna’s focus:

One  day  Guru  Dronacharya decided to test the skills of his students at the Gurukul. Hence, he tied a toy bird in one of the branches of the tree and kept there.

Then, guru Dronacharya called his students one by one and asked them to set the target of their arrows at the toy bird in the tree.

Guru  Dronacharya  called Yudhisthira  and  asked  him, “Yudhisthira, what you can see in the tree?”

Yudhisthira bowed down his head and answered, “Gurudev, I can see the wings of the bird.”

Guru  Dronacharya  called Duryadhana and asked the same question.

Duryadhana replied, “Gurudev, I can see the standing tree over there. ”

Guru Dronacharya asked Bhima the same question.

Bhima replied, “Gurudev, I can see the branches of the tree and the ripening fruits.”

Everybody laughed at the reply of Bhima.

Then, Guru Dronacharya called Arjuna and asked him, “Arjuna, what you can see in the tree? ”

Arjuna replied politely while holding his bow firmly and setting the target of his arrow at the bird, “Gurudev, I can only see in the one eye of the bird. ”

Guru Dronacharya smiled and applauded Arjuna, “Excellent! Bravo. You have set your target at the right place.”

In life, you have to keep your focus like Arjuna; then only you can achieve whatever you want in your life. Never allow your focus to wander anywhere. The way you focus on your life, the way you achieve in your life.

• If you focus on the good things, you will always receive good things.

• If you focus on bad things, you will always receive bad things.

• If you focus on positive things, you will always get positive things.

• If you focus on negative things, you will always get negative things.

• If you focus on your growth, you will always grow in your life.

• If you focus on work, you will always get a good result.

• If you focus on happiness, you will always become happy and blissful.

• If you focus on sorrows, you will always become sad and stressful in your life.

• If you focus on your success, you will always become successful in your life.

• If you focus on your failure, you will always witness your failures and setbacks in your life.

A Focused Mind:

• He has a concentrated mindset.

• Nobody can divert his mind.

• He is still and firm.

• He is laborious.

• He only looks at his fixed aims and objectives.

• He has a positive attitude.

• He has a vision.

• He can build his own road map of success.

•He is always self-reliant.

• He is always disciplined.

A Distracted Mind:

• He has a distracted mindset.

• He has diverted mind.

• He is unsteady.

• He is idle.

• He has no fixed aims and objectives.

• He has a negative attitude.

• He has no vision.

• He is the spoiler of his own success.

• He always depends on others.

• He is indiscipline.

“Focus on yourself- do what you want, when you want, without having consider anyone else’s agenda.”

                                                                           ---Lauren Weisberger
